Wayzata Brew Works

294 Grove Ln E, Wayzata, MN 55391

Located in the historic Boatworks building on the shores of Lake Minnetonka, Wayzata Brew Works strives to give our patrons a unique beer drinking experience. Our craft beer and taproom reflect our heritage – a time when a wooden boat was built artisinally by the hands of quality craftsmen.

These craftsmen worked within our walls and helped shape the town of Wayzata into the unique setting it is today. We pay homage to our predecessors by creating craft beers with the same pride and quality work ethic. Our ingredients and sparkling water are locally sourced, giving you the freshest grain-to-glass craft beer experience.

At Wayzata Brew Works, visitors will then enter the 2,500-square-foot taproom, which harkens back to the early days of Wayzata and the history of the brewery’s location. The Boatworks building sits on the site of the original Moore Johnson Boat Works, a boat building business that was run by early Wayzata settler Royal C. Moore.

Wayzata Brew Works, offers guests a great view of Lake Minnetonka from inside the taproom and on the outdoor patio. Entering the 5,000 square-foot micro-production facility through the Boatworks building will get an up-close look at the tanks and equipment for brewing and distilling.
